This article will help you understand what product details are imported from BigCommerce and what information is updated back to BigCommerce from Cin7 Orderhive.
Once integrated, Cin7 Orderhive will import all your products and populate them on the product listing page.
Cin7 Orderhive imports the below product fields from BigCommerce:
- Name
- SKU
- Inventory
- Description
- Weight
- Price
- Image
The mentioned details are also synced for Variants (called options in BigCommerce).
Inventory Updates:
All your BigCommerce products will get populated on the product list page. The product quantity is saved under the On Hand stock field in Cin7 Orderhive. All the products will be part of the warehouse you selected while integrating your store.
When do stock levels get updated automatically to BigCommerce?
Whenever you change the stock in Cin7 Orderhive or a new sales order drops on BigCommerce or on any integrated channel associated with that product, Cin7 Orderhive will automatically push new stock levels to BigCommerce in real-time.
Here’s how you can change the stock in Cin7 Orderhive manually:
From the product listing page, go to the product for which the stock needs to be adjusted and click on the On Hand field. Enter the new stock in the Warehouse’s New On Hand field and click on the Update button to save. This action will trigger Cin7 Orderhive to update the stock automatically to BigCommerce in real-time.
Important Note: Cin7 Orderhive will update stock levels to BigCommerce only if you have enabled the "PUSH STOCK QUANTITIES" option at the integration level.
Automatic price updates
Along with the available stock, you can even change the retail price of a BigCommerce product. The new price will get updated to BigCommerce in real-time. You can edit the price from the product listing page or the product detail page.
Enter the new price in the updated Price field and click on Update to save. This will trigger Cin7 Orderhive to update the price to BigCommerce automatically.
New Products Sync
After integration, any new products added to your BigCommerce store will sync in Cin7 Orderhive only after Instant product Sync is initiated.
